_{Because bullying sucks.

I have a 0 tolerance for bullying in any form.

I also have two stories, one personal and one that goes towards bullying to peoples sexuality.

When I was in grade 6, I was the new kid at my school and I was very shy. I just moved to a small town, from a big city, and it was all very different. It's a very scary feeling!!

There were these 3 girls that walked the same direction home as I did. One day (about 4 months in), they walked passed me and one of them said "I really like your hair, it's very pretty!" And I felt pretty happy and they smiled and waved and went on.

The next day.. They came again and the same girl asked if I wore a wig. I said no, then the other girl went behind me and grabbed my hands while the two other girls started pulling at my hair. They laughed, and ran away as I sat on the ground crying in shock.

These three girls came around every couple of days and beat me up. I went home with bruises, crying my eyes out, cuts and scrapes and I didn't know what to do. This was a very scary time for me, and some days I sat around school until I know for sure that they were long gone. Some days they sat around waiting for me.

I hated myself, for being small and scrawny and I couldn't stand up for myself because I was alone. I told my mom, I would go home crying and I would call her and she would get mad and she even went to the teachers and I'm thankful for my mom helping me. But the teachers did nothing.

I became quiet, and didn't talk to anybody. The girls at school would whisper and look at me and giggle and turn away. My friends had no idea what was going on. I was terrified of school.

One day, the worst day, I was walking home and I kept looking over my shoulder to see them walking behind me. But it looked like they were busy talking to themselves, so I walked faster to get home more quickly. When I got to my garage, I noticed a note taped to it and a very gross looking paper bag stapled to it. I read it, and I could hear the girls laughing behind me down the street. It said 'This bag of dog shit smells better than you' I knew it was just to annoy me, but it pissed me off SO badly, that I whipped around and whipped the bag at one of the girls and it hit her in the face! The dog poo went all over her and I couldn't stop laughing. They never bothered me again.

Another story I have directly relates to Spirit Day for DeviantART. One of my very best friends a few years ago, came out and told me he was gay. The only thing I asked was why he didn't tell me sooner, I already knew and it didn't change anything. He said he was worried I'd feel 'grossed out', and I grabbed his cheeks and I kissed him on the mouth and said 'You'd never gross me out' It was funny LOL

A year after he came out to more people, he started getting bullied. We (his friends) didn't even know, but we knew something was going on. He was always sad, had bruises, and got into a lot of fights and became very timid. I knew he was being bullied, because the same thing happened to me. I wish I had of talked to him about it, but before any of us could help, he killed himself.

We later learned that it got to the point where him and his family were being sent death threats. He was stalked, stabbed even, and mentally tortured, and abused. He never asked for help from anybody.

Quinn, if you were still here today we would have done everything possible to keep you safe and make you know that there were so many people who loved and cared for you. <3
